[Elliot knew this was a conversation he didn't want recorded by the phones, so he asked Jusis to meet him at the Zhongli statue. He left his own phone at the house, hidden away in a spot he knew Rean and Ash wouldn't be prone to look.

It's cold out. Winter's fully set. The sidewalks around the statue have been shoveled, but no one is lingering outside for very long. Elliot sits at the foot of the statue. He's wrapped up in a winter coat and gear, while nursing a cup of hot tea. He waits for Jusis to arrive, and gives his usual warm pleasantries. But once those are over... he'll cut to why he called him out here]

So... I've been doing a lot of thinking. And... I think it'd be a good idea for me to join the Order.

[Jusis arrives as punctual as ever. He's dressed for the weather with a long, dark green coat and a beige scarf. Once again, he doesn't look at the statue of Morax since the nipple tassels, against all odds, are still there.

The blond has a coffee in hand and he's glad to exchange pleasantries with Elliot. Jusis knows it's going to be a serious conversation, but he takes this bit of warmth happily. It's a few minutes where he doesn't have to think about The Order's latest mission and what that might mean going forward.

He takes a sip of coffee when Elliot says he wants to join The Order. It's not exactly shocking to Jusis, and he thinks he sees the throughline for his boyfriend's reasoning.]

I see why you wanted to talk about this away from Rean and Ash. I'm not against the idea, to be perfectly honest, but I'd like to know your reasons for joining first.

[At some point, a short while after Blade's post, Fiammetta will be approaching Jusis with a small bag in her mouth that she'll place down near him before taking off.

The bag contains a number of elixirs from Hyrule, a selection of useful items that were purchased in Undertown, and a good luck charm.]

[Jusis doesn't know what he's done to get such a thoughtful son, but gods does he appreciate it. This is going to be a painful one, but he does have an idea to help Blade get out of hot water with The Order. It's just a matter of what Blade decides.]

The bodies are in Kanto, inside the ruins about ten minutes west of the gate.

I know protocol is that we shouldn't touch a crime scene, but this isn't where they were killed. We'll [meaning Jun] bring the bodies out of the Spirit Realm so the authorities can release them to their families. Is there a good place for that?

[Jusis lets out a sigh that's both relieved and tired.]

Place them within the park a safe distance away from the Kanto Gate. I'll make certain that the officers who arrive are ones I trust. They'll still ask you cursory questions, but they won't keep you longer than that.

Did you find any clues to the Labyrinth's whereabouts? Or anything unusual about the bodies or where they were found?

You should. She's one of the zealots in The Order, and highly experienced. Not only that, but she has a reputation of being cold and ruthless. Once she's given a Mission, she makes sure it gets done at any cost.

[He pauses for a beat.]

That being said... for the past year, I've heard that she's gotten worse. Ever since POKEGO fractured, in fact. I'd heard rumors that her brother had been one of the fallen researchers. I'm afraid I don't know much more about it since I interacted with her only twice in my career, and both times I preferred to keep my distance.

[ Since Jusis was so kind as to let Lapis know his birthday, and there's no way she would keep this information to herself, the resident shadow couple have decided to have something delivered to his office. Considering all the... everything that's happened and Lapis being out of commission for a bit, hopefully it being a few days late won't be an issue.

And they've made sure to write that it's from them on the tag on the giftbox. Inside is a small cake wrapped neatly, and two gifts. One of them is a mug with a picture of a unicorn and the words "A boss like neigh other." written along the side, picked out by Lapis.

The other is a blu-ray copy of The Last Unicorn, picked out by Jinwoo.

[Memories have fallen back into place for Diarmuid. And with them solidifying his sense of duty. While both his and Waver's mana needed to readjust to this world, beginning a correspondence wasn't strenuous in any way.

And given what loomed over them with the Black Order... what it may mean for his friends. This was bound to happen sooner rather than later. Thus did Jusis receive a message from a name he may have only seen once or twice.]

This is Diarmuid ua Duibhne. We have yet to be in direct contact and for the unprompted message I ask that you pardon me. However, I will get straight to the point.

The reason I contact you now is because I would like to speak with you in person regarding the Black Order and recent developments in a neutral location of your choosing. I give you my word that my intent is solely to ask a few questions.

I've spoken with colleagues of yours within the Black Order's Kaisou team. Lapis De Fiore and Hinoki Ayato. If you doubt my sincerity, they will vouch for me as the word of a knight's honor from a man you do not know will only reach so far.

[This is an unusual text to get out of the blue, but Jusis is used to it. The Order tends to do that a lot to him. He reads over the text from Diarmuid and considers the terms carefully. In the end, it doesn't hurt to collaborate with the Libra users since he feels that he has a good relationship with them for the most part.]

I would be happy to speak with you further on recent developments and answer any questions you have to the best of my ability. If you're amenable, I would recommend Kami State Park or Blue Fish Park at around 2 o'clock for this discussion. I trust your honor since you seem to have a companionship with Ayato and Lapis.

[After obtaining the love potion and safely securing it in a couple safety containers, Elliot decided his best bet was to bring it over to Jusis to deal with. Seemed responsible, and gave him an excuse to see his boyfriend.

So after sending Jusis a quick text, he heads over there. When he pulls into the driveway, he notices there are moogles... standing outside the door. One of them is using their small wings to lift themselves high enough to ring the doorbell, while the others notice Elliot's approach and excitedly start to speak among themselves.

Well. That's weird. Elliot will get out of the car and slowly approach, trying to figure out just what is going on]

[Jusis doesn't even suspect a thing when he hears the doorbell. When he opens the door, he's shocked to see the Moogles there. One of the little weirdos takes out a trumpet from nowhere and loudly blasts a few notes out before the delivery Moogle starts talking.]

Congratulations on your purchase, kupo! The shopkeeper at the Goodwill has stated that the stars have aligned for you to join your partners in holy mogtrimony, kupo!

[There are the sounds of party poppers going off and a spontaneous shower of confetti and glitter falls from the heavens... somehow. They then present to him on a satin pillow a set of wedding rings. Three of them.]

[This is unusual. Normally he gets a text from Ayato with some pleasantries, but instead he's getting a call. That has Jusis answering immediately, and what the man has to say has him seeing white hot rage for a brief second.

This team is his herd. Anyone who threatens them will not be tolerated. While Jusis can't stop her as a Guardian, he can sure as fuck get in her way if he must.]
